Mark Oliver is an artist who paints mainly in oils and reached the finals of the 2021 Sky Portrait Artist of the Year Competition. He has also written and illustrated various books. He also makes what he terms “Litter Bugs” - a group of found objects which he makes into insects, using collage and assemblage of objects to create an artistic illusion which encourages the viewer to look closely at the bugs and discover what they are made of.
