All Fabrics

Nicholas Engert Interiors sells curtain and upholstery fabrics by the metre, with free cuttings of every design. The range covers our own fabrics woven in England – plains, stripes and wool tartans – Johanna Gullichsen's Finnish woven fabrics, and printed, embroidered and velvet fabrics from the American houses Stroheim and Fabricut.

Filter by design, composition or use grade to find the right fabric for curtains, upholstery, cushions, blinds or walling. Many of our English weaves are graded for commercial use, making them suitable for hotels and restaurants as well as busy family homes.

Can I order free fabric samples?

Yes. Free cuttings are available for every fabric we sell, for trade and retail clients alike. Add a sample to your basket from the product page, or ask our studio.

Which fabrics are best for upholstery?

Each fabric is graded for use – commercial, heavy domestic, general domestic, light domestic or decorative only – and the grade is shown on the product page. Choose heavy domestic or commercial for upholstery.

How much fabric do I need?
