Wall Lights

Our wall lights include classic lanterns, retro prismatic-glass and adjustable cone lights, contemporary bathroom wall lights and wall-mounted reading lights, for every room in the house and many outdoor positions. Makers include Cressida and Rose, Mullan, Decor Walther and Baulmann.

Wall lights give soft, indirect light that is kinder than a single ceiling light and frees up table space. Use lanterns in halls and either side of a front door, adjustable cone lights beside beds and armchairs, and IP-rated fittings in bathrooms. Windsor lanterns come in small, medium and large sizes in antique black and bronze.

Which wall lights can be used outside?

Lights tagged for exterior use, such as Windsor lanterns and the outdoor bulkhead and well lights, are suitable for outside walls. Check the IP rating on each product page before ordering.

How high should wall lights be fitted?

As a guide, fit wall lights about 1.5–1.8m from the floor, a little lower beside beds and sofas. Reading lights should sit just above shoulder height when seated.
