Fabric Collections
We have, for many years, been passionate about beautiful fabrics. We started with our plains and stripes collections and then added some external producers such as Johanna Gullichsen, Fabricut and Stroheim from whom we select fabrics that work with our own collections.
All of our fabrics are of the finest quality for uses including curtains, upholstery, walling and bedding for either domestic or residential use.
British Plains & Stripes
Britain has a long and distinguished history of fabric production and whilst much is now manufactured overseas we still produce some wonderful cloths.
We have sought to curate a collection of vibrant plains and stripes in cotton, wool and linen suitable for curtains and upholstery that are both durable and stylish.
Geometric Prints
Pattern, as always, plays a large part in decoration and geometric pattern has always been a fascination of ours.
Our fabrics are digitally printed enabling the colours to be changed or the scale altered with relative ease.
We choose clear colours that make an impact and co-ordinate with the plain weaves collections.
Tartan Weaves
Woven in Britain, these tartans in pure wool are faithful reproductions of the Scottish clan tartans but manufactured for curtain and upholstery use.
As with all our fabrics, the colours are strong and vibrant and work well with our plain cottons and wool weaves.
Scandinavian Influence
Some years ago we came across the elegant collections of Johanna Gullichsen whose influences are drawn from the architecture and design in Finland and, for their Loom collection, the colours of Venetian lagoon.
Exquisitely designed with superb colours, their collections are suitable for curtaining and upholstery.
Pattern and Weave
For some time we had searched for fabrics that complement our own fabric collections by introducing more pattern - both geometric and floral - and then by chance came across the huge collections from the US fabric houses of Stroheim and Fabricut.
We have selected a number of designs that we feel add texture, scale and pattern to our collections whilst fitting with our overall philosophy of vibrant colours.
