Our rush log baskets are handwoven in Suffolk from English rush in round shapes from medium to double extra large and square shapes in medium and large, with optional galvanised steel liners. We also sell the Fireside Blow Poker.
A rush log basket brings natural texture and generous storage to the fireside, and grows more beautiful with age. The liner helps the basket keep its shape and extends its life.
What size log basket do I need?
For a single evening's logs, a large basket is usually enough; choose extra large or double extra large for a wood-burning stove used every day.
Do I need a liner?
A galvanised steel liner adds stability, helps the basket keep its shape and extends its life.
What is a Fireside Blow Poker?
A metal tube for blowing air gently onto embers to revive a log fire without bellows.
