Textured Candle Shades

Our textured candle shades have a surface you can see and feel – shagreen-effect card in green, tangerine and violet, burnt orange crocodile card, and beaded glass – adding depth and sparkle to candlelight on the table.

The texture catches the light and gives a richer glow than plain card. Beaded glass shades sparkle in candlelight, while shagreen and crocodile effects add a quietly luxurious note.

What is a shagreen candle shade?

A card shade printed and embossed to resemble shagreen, a granular leather traditionally used on fine boxes and furniture.

Do textured shades need a carrier?

Most of our shades sit on a candle shade carrier, a brass or silver frame that rests on the candle and lowers the shade as the candle burns. Carriers are available for candle bulbs and tea lights too.

Can I mix textured and patterned shades?
