There are numerous options available but we have split ours into three broad groups, namely decorative sconces, library lights and bathroom lights.

Decorative wall sconces are most useful in corridors and halls but we avoid their use in dining rooms and living spaces as the light may throw unpleasant shadows whilst not providing useful light.

Conversely, library lights are useful and practical in studies or home offices as with flexible arms the light can be positioned just where it is required.

Bathroom lighting needs to achieve two distinct functions - be warm and relaxing when bathing but clean and bright for hair, make up and grooming purposes. It is the lighting around mirrors that needs to be even and to avoid shadows and here we have selected a range of fittings designed for this purpose.
  

Bathroom accessories should always be functional and fit for purpose whatever the interior design style. Natural materials can blend with manmade materials to provide variety and interest as well as items with finishes that complement the brassware within the bathroom, such as polished chrome, nickel or dark bronze. It can be hard to find faithful reproductions of period accessories but the Czech & Speake collection has a feel of quality and great attention to detail and is built to last. Whilst it undoubtedly has a more masculine air, it still looks excellent in all manner of settings where a traditional design approach is required. There are two main finishes - polished chrome or nickel being the two most popular for traditional interiors.
  

Venicem is a new discovery for us in 2023. We came across them at Euroluce in Milan and were struck by their use of materials and quality of finish.
As with many of our collections, they have a timeless quality and their furniture and lighting could work in both traditional and modern settings - this is very much an Italian design theme.
 

Johanna Gullichsen fabrics from Finland are influenced by the architecture and designs of Alvar Aalto as well as the patterns of Venice. Using silks and cottons in fresh colours, the geometric fabrics are suitable for curtains and upholstery and work well with contemporary or more traditional interiors.
 

Geometric Fabrics have always appealed to us. Repeating motifs in different scales particularly when the colours are crisp and clear add excitement to a colour scheme. We are alway seeking interesting patterns in vibrant colours to add to our collections. Tartan Fabrics are the essence of the Scottish Highlands but they are also excellent for furnishing in an appropriate setting. Our tartans our woven in the UK in 100% wool and are light enough for curtains but strong enough for upholstery.
