
Fruit & Flowers by Biddy Picard
Born in 1922 in Derbyshire, Biddy attended Chesterfield School of Art before training at The Slade. She taught art for a while in Bristol before moving to Wales and finally to Cornwall in 1974. Biddy and her husband Bill were at the centre of the artistic circles of Mousehole and Newlyn in Cornwall for many years and Biddy is a longstanding member of the Newlyn Society of Artists and also taught painting and ceramics at Penzance School of Art.
