Wallpaper – Voyage 1929 – Cinnamon
Voyage 1929 illustrates a round-the-world journey made by the designer's ancestors in 1929, drawn from the photographs and diaries they kept along the way. Two of the Japanese destinations from that journey were revisited by the designer herself nearly a century later — a reminder of how far wanderlust can travel across generations. It's a pattern for dreaming of undiscovered places, or remembering ones already seen.
Presented here in the Cinnamon colourway, this illustrated travel map design is traditionally printed on high-quality non-woven material by skilled artisans at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in Sweden. Produced for the Långelid / von Brömssen collection, it combines Scandinavian design with traditional wallpaper-making techniques and carefully considered craftsmanship.
