Wallpaper - Bird's Nest - Ink Blue
Wallpaper – Bird’s Nest – Ink Blue
The design is inspired by the Swedish “Kurbits” painting — a style featuring light brush strokes and depictions of gourds, leaves and flowers, used especially in the decoration of furniture and wall hangings in the county of Dalarna, Sweden. The Kurbits pattern is printed on a pin-striped background with inspiration from Japanese fabrics — a true eclectic mix of traditions and motifs.
This design is screen printed on non-woven material with a pattern repeat of 64 cm, pattern matching half drop, roll length 10.05 m and width 53 cm.
This collection of wallpapers is printed by skilled artisans at the wallpaper manufacturer Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in Sweden.
The backing material is non-woven paper – a mixed material consisting of synthetic fibres and pulp. The combination makes the material form-resistant and easy to use. The synthetic fibres come from recycled materials such as PET bottles, and the pulp from forests with FSC certification. Non-woven has ÖK-Tex Standard 100 certification.
