Wallpaper – Acacia – Jeans Blue
Acacia takes its inspiration from personal memory: the acacia tree in a grandmother's garden, echoed years later by the same delicate silhouettes across the Tanzanian savannah. The mirrored foliage motif is set against a softly textured ground inspired by a vintage kimono fabric discovered in a Kyoto market, with a seam worked into the pattern to reinforce the textile feel. The result is a wallpaper that draws together a family garden, an African landscape and a piece of Japanese textile heritage into one considered design.
Presented here in the Jeans Blue colourway, this foliage design is traditionally printed on high-quality non-woven material by skilled artisans at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in Sweden. Produced for the Långelid / von Brömssen collection, it combines Scandinavian design with traditional wallpaper-making techniques and carefully considered craftsmanship.
