Vanessa Bell was an English painter, a central figure in the Bloomsbury Group, and the sister of Virginia Woolf. In 1904, Vanessa and her siblings moved to Bloomsbury, where they became part of a vibrant artistic and literary community. She married Clive Bell in 1907 and later lived at Charleston Farmhouse in Sussex with Duncan Grant. In 1912, Bell’s work featured in the Second Post-Impressionist Exhibition at the Grafton Galleries in London, alongside Picasso and Matisse, marking her influence on modern British art.
