Camille Pissarro – Greetings Card

Camille Pissarro was born in St Thomas in the Danish West Indies (now part of the US Virgin Islands), but he lived and worked primarily in the Paris area. He was the only artist to exhibit in all eight Paris Impressionist exhibitions from 1874 to 1886. Pissarro visited London in 1870–71 and was influenced by the works of Millet and Corot. Primarily a landscape painter, he later adopted the Neo-Impressionist style and worked alongside Georges Seurat and Paul Signac.
