Leo Shirley Smith is an English silverware designer and craftsman. In his design work he is interested in the combination of visual and functional elegance along with elegance in the manufacturing process.
Some of Leo's inspiration comes from his photography, very often of nature and also from the artist Fornasetti who delighted in adorning objects with unusual imagery, often in black and white. Leo develops images using modern techniques to etch into silver to produce exquisite handcrafted pieces of silver work.
